Queen to appoint Prof. D. M. Rowe to OBE

Professor D. M. Rowe of Cardiff, scientist, author, editor, and organizer is well known to the thermoelectric community. Now he has come to the attention of no less than the Queen of England. The Queen has announced the Honour of appointinting Prof. Rowe an Officer in the Order of the British Empire (OBE). I'm fairly certain no other member of the thermoelectric community has been so Honoured.

The Honour has been formally announced in:

The London Gazette
