The International Thermoelectric Society (ITS) is pleased to announce the 2012 ITS “Scientific” and “Application” Best Paper Awards. The awards are sponsored by the International Thermoelectrics Society (ITS) and carry a cash prize of US $500 each as well as a certificate suitable for framing. The awards will be presented at the banquet of the 31st International Conference on Thermoelectrics (ICT 2012), to be held July 9-12, 2012, in Aalborg, Denmark.
The best “Scientific” and “Application” papers, one from each category, will be chosen among all papers presented by the submission deadline (see below), with the exception of invited papers. The selection will be based solely on the manuscripts; no consideration will be given to the accompanying presentation. Award criteria are the scientific merit, originality and clarity of the papers.
The Selection Panel will be appointed by the ICT 2012 conference chair and all decisions are final.
Manuscript Submission Process and Deadline:
Manuscripts should be submitted using the link provided on the ICT 2012 website. The submission deadline for manuscripts to be considered for these awards is June 9, 2012. Manuscripts submitted after this date will not be considered.
