Well we wanna take the power
From this temperature we got
So we doped the field, for an electron yield
And made a thermoelectric on the spot 

This transport was a simple game,
When conditions were ideal,
But you’ll be stuck, you’ll be outta luck
When that energy gets a little too real 

So we’re planning out the pathways
Those electrons oughta go
But with hot and cold, yeah the story’s told
You’re gonna lose yourself as the phonons flow

The phonon mean free path doesn’t have to be so mean
And the more we understand we can control the energy 

And the further that they flow the further I can see
We need a way to stop the phonons while electrons go free

And we’re seeing these electrons drag the phonons right along 

And we’re making our decisions to engineer collisions
And the filters that we make will stop em at the gate
