We are thrilled to be welcoming you at the Symposium B1 “Thermoelectric Materials for Sustainable Development” at the MRM2023/IUMRS-ICA2023 in Kyoto, Japan from 11-16 December 2023.

The conference is large in scale, having 1700 contributions from all over the world. The Symposium B1 is expected to be successful with 92 contributions (63 orals, of which 4 keynotes and 29 invited, and 29 posters) and several important researchers of the field will attend. The current announced keynote speaker are:

• Ren Zhifeng (University of Houston, USA) – Status on Thermoelectric Materials and Modules
• Masahiro Nomura (University of Tokyo, Japan) – Planar-type Si thermoelectric generator for 100 µW harvesting
• Yuri Grin (Max Planck Institute for Chemical Physics of Solids, Germany) – Violation of translational symmetry, anisotropy of chemical bonding and thermoelectric properties of o-Al13Co4

The abstract submission is closed, but there is still space for “Late Breaking News” The registration just opened on July 15 and early bird fee is available until September 30. Contribution from sponsors to symposium B1 is welcome until September 30
